Today I purchased a $54 one-pound bag of pure Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee. Review to follow once I get some tomorrow morning. I received a steep discount which required me to pay in cash, not look at any cameras, and perform a handstand.At an estimated 50 cups per pound, That will run $1.08 per cup for home brewed coffee. Folgers at $8 for 2.5 pounds comes to about 6.4 cents per cup. Am I crazy? Yes.

A few days ago I was walking to the bus when I saw a squirrel eying me while chewing on a chicken bone. It was quite disturbing. Are the food choices in our neighborhood really that slim, or do our local small mammals have bloodlust? I would have snapped a picture, but I felt like the look he gave me was “keep moving”. That, and I was going to miss my bus if I didn’t hurry up.
A pop is a punch in the face. Coke is short for Coca-Cola. There, I’ve said my piece.

When reading my RSS feeds, I have to constantly keep an eye out for something that sounds too bizarre to be true. It’s like reading an article from The Onion and not realizing that that’s where it’s from. However, reading about how people are suckered into believing crazy stuff does keep me entertained:
Today I received a phone call from someone I didn’t recognize. Even though I had never seen the number, I decided to pick it up. I never answer the phone if I don’t know what number it is. But today was not a normal day. After I answered I received an earful of something in some language, which I can only assume was Chinese. Some Asian guy was yelling at me. I don’t think he could hear me, so I hung up.
A few weeks ago, David came across a hysterical video of a machine that someone thought was a good idea: The Pet Spa. Basically, a dishwasher that you put your small quadruped companions (like, say, a cat) in. I really felt bad for the cat in said video. What I thought was funny was that someone suggested the product, engineered it, built it, tested it, and then went on to sell this contraption. Did at no point someone say “hmmm… maybe a cat would not like to be put into a small enclosed space and sprayed with water jets from every direction”?
The sad thing is that I went to find the video to post on my blog. But YouTube removed it.
The bizarre thing was that YouTube removed it because of a copyright claim. From… The Walt Disney Company!
